1. Rights in stories and content
Lawful rights in stories, translations, covers, illustrations and reviews belong to the respective authors/rights holders. Studio uploaders must declare truthfully, substantiate ownership or valid authorization and hold sufficient rights for Readeep to make works available to readers. Readeep uses works within the licensed scope.
Free reading, shelf saves, attribution, purchasing a book or finding a work online does not authorize copying/reposting. Obtain appropriate permission for uses beyond those offered unless a legal exception applies. A license to Readeep does not automatically sublicense exploitation to every reader.
2. Reviews and community conduct
Submit only reviews you have rights to use and take responsibility for them. Do not copy long portions of works into reviews, impersonate, defame, harass, expose private data, spam or link to malicious content. Child sexual exploitation/abuse material and other legally prohibited content are forbidden. Do not manipulate the platform with fake reviews, reports or accounts.
Good-faith criticism and differing views are respected. Identify spoilers. Warnings or references to fiction do not legalize prohibited conduct. Observe story age limits and content warnings.
3. Reporting reviews or inappropriate content
Use Report on public reviews to send specific reasons to administrators; sign-in is required. For stories, covers or issues without a corresponding report control, email the URL and description to the contact below.
Reports must be truthful, grounded and omit unnecessary sensitive data. A review report does not replace rights evidence required for copyright complaints. Do not publish identity documents or private contracts in reviews.
4. Copyright notices
Rights holders or representatives should email the listed contact with their name and contact details; rights-holder/representative capacity; identification of the protected work; rights evidence; specific story, chapter, image or review URLs; the allegedly infringing portions; and the requested action.
Include a truthfulness statement, grounds for believing use is unauthorized, an appropriate signature/electronic confirmation, representative authorization if relevant and legally required documents. Draft history, contracts or licenses may substantiate rights; a registration certificate is not the only evidence. Do not send passwords or API keys.
5. Handling, responses and restoration
Readeep reviews notices and may request additional evidence. When warranted, it promptly removes or restricts access and follows statutory procedures/deadlines and competent authority demands. Temporary restriction does not itself determine ownership.
Where permitted, uploaders receive details of the content and reasons for action and may respond through the same contact with URLs, reasons and rights evidence. Continued restriction/restoration depends on evidence, applicable rules or authoritative decisions; a response does not guarantee automatic restoration. Parties may seek resolution from competent authorities.
Readeep preserves evidence and shares only necessary information on a lawful basis when cooperating. Knowingly false complaints, repeated violations or reposting restricted content may lead to account restrictions and statutory liability.
6. Submitter and platform responsibility
Work uploaders answer for publication rights and declarations; review/report authors answer for their own submissions. Readeep does not assume those parties’ responsibilities, but does not exclude liability for its own conduct or mandatory duties.
Moderation is not copyright certification or a guarantee against disputes. Intermediary exemptions apply only when legal conditions are met. Readeep must protect rights, address infringement and cooperate as required by law.
